Pacitti Company workshop leaders are very experienced in guiding participants through a range of scenarios that respond to and reflect the needs of each group. We recognise that the experience of generating performance material from personal starting points can sometimes be intense, and the programmes of activity described here have been carefully designed to provide a safe space at all times. These workshops are aimed mainly at performers, artists, makers and students who work with theatre, performance, sound, film, video, installation, dance, new writing, cabaret, public intervention, new technologies and the hybrid spaces around these areas.

Manifestos workshop
This workshop encourages participants to focus on the personal as a platform from which to generate new content. It demonstrates through action how seemingly disparate personal experiences or observations may become consolidated and utilised as valuable assets towards the construction of new performance outcomes. Through an intensive process of led exercises each participant accumulates a series of texts and live performance which go towards the formation of a personal manifesto.

Explicit Body workshop
This workshop asks participants to consider how the body is read, and what that might mean in relation to performance. Through investigating what constitutes the explicit body participants explore the strategic possibilities afforded by amplfying, subverting, disguising or denying the public body.

Finale Workshop
This unrivalled process brings together both the Manifestos and Explicit Body workshops and places them in relation to Finale - an existing piece of Pacitti Company work. Participants generate and perform their own materials alongside members of Pacitti Company within site specific public performances of Finale.
Facilitated by 4 members of Pacitti Company including a Technician
Requires a site specific venue for the workshop and public performances of Finale (previous sites have included an old prison and a disused reservoir)

Made 2 Measure
This is a tailor made consultation service for both individual artists and small to mid scale companies who wish to address specific areas of their making process or public delivery. After an initial period of consultation Pacitti Company will recommend a strategic programme of proposed developmental action and lead on it's implementation. The aim of this service is to work with participants to facilitate radical solutions for professional artistic growth whilst ever prioritising sustainability.

Surgeries
Pacitti Company Surgeries offer information and advice on a wide range of theatre and performance related topics - from issues of professional development through to critical feedback on work. Similar to Made 2 Measure but smaller in scale these face to face sessions can respond to a broad range of requests. Available only in the UK.
