Mark is a sound artist, filmmaker and performance technician whose practice is centred around electroacoustic music. In embracing both high and low technologies, he is particularly interested in exploring montage and concrète techniques in both composition and performance. Working across a diverse range of artfoms recent commissions have included those from Opera North, the Sonic Arts Network and the Henry Moore Institute. His work has been widely programmed both nationally and internationally including the prestigious Sonic Circuits touring festival of the USA, curated by the American Composers Forum, and Vidarte in Mexico City.
