MONTHLY SESSIONS FOR UNDER 5'S TO RUN RIOT THROUGH NOISE
These new monthly sessions encourage Under 5’s to run riot through noise. Setting up microphones and amps the Think Tank will be wired for sound. From banging things that go clang, to blowing things that screech, this is a time and place for little ones to be loud, bold and take up space. Gentle session leadership by experienced contemporary sound artists and children's workshop leaders Anna Rowe and Frazer Merrick will encourage light and shade, hush and gentle, loud and very loud. Each session will be audio recorded, in order that sound artists can shape the cacophony into joy, for public use at future SPILL Festivals.
Themed sessions will focus upon different areas of sound - from percussion to wind, from vocalisations to silences, and everything in between. The sessions are standalone and you're welcome to come to as many as you like.
From synthesizers to cymbals, toy trumpets to bits of wood, this is the Toddler’s Orchestra. Earplugs provided.
Please note - you only require one ticket per toddler, grow ups go free.
