As part of On Landguard Point – a mass multi-platform participatory project and feature film.
The Company gathered stories and local knowledge about the East of England from residents as part of A People’s Peculiar. These stories helped us to create 205 symbols and these, in turn, were made into silver charms by Suffolk jewellery-maker Victoria Constable. A set was buried in 205 archaeological test pits across 6 counties as part of Artists taking the lead, a major project at the heart of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, funded by Arts Council England, and another is on permanent display at the Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket.
Come and enjoy dinner, handle the charms up close and hear the stories behind them.
