This time ten years ago the first SPILL Festival of Performance was happening in London. To celebrate this sustained period of artist-led action, we present a special version of Reading Room, Pacitti Company’s open access alternative free public library.

Reading Room: SPILL Is Ten focuses on books and DVDs by and about artists that have been connected with the festival across the past decade. From writings and videos on large-scale works by international makers at The Barbican, Southbank Centre and National Theatre, to self-published artist’s books about intimate performances in the former Ipswich Police Station, there’s a lot to explore and celebrate. Come and browse, make a hot drink, pull up a cushion and generally treat yourself to a day of brain food in and around our beautiful building. Hell we might even crack out a birthday.
